The bottleneck is rarely scanning. It is getting accurate drawings back to clients fast enough.

“We get more work than we can handle. Whenever I tell clients how long it will take, they’re always disappointed.”

Owner, laser scanning firm, US

“Our guys can’t start on another job until they finish the current one.”

Head of Operations, measured survey firm, UK

“From scan to delivery of drawings it’s five to ten working days.”

Director, survey firm, Ireland

“We outsourced to India. It took more time fixing it than it did for us to draw it ourselves.”

“We tested AI tools. The wall thicknesses were wrong and whole rows of windows were missing.”

Blick: AI drafting for survey firms

Upload a point cloud. Get an accurate 2D floor plan back in minutes, in your layers. Your drafters add the detail and move on to the next job, with the team you already have.

Blick is set up on your own past projects, point cloud plus the finished drawing, so it draws the way your firm draws. It only draws what it is sure about. Anything it cannot read clearly is left blank and marked, so your team adds to the drawing and never has to fix it.

Your layers, drawing standards and line types — not a generic export.

Only draws what it is sure about, so wrong lines do not enter your workflow.

Floor plans back in about 15 minutes per point cloud.

60–90 seconds: upload a point cloud, wait, download the DWG

A real, messy building: point cloud slice next to the returned floor plan, with one blank area highlighted where Blick was not sure.

How it works

How it works

1

Set up once on your past projects. Share finished jobs, point cloud plus drawing, however is easiest: drive access, an upload link, or a hard drive we send you.

2

Upload a point cloud. In the browser. Nothing to install.

3

Get the floor plan back in minutes. A DWG in your layers. Your team adds the rest.

What it draws

Today: walls, columns, doors, windows and openings, as 2D floor plans. In development: stairs, sanitary fittings, levels and labels, elevations and sections. Your team adds these, the same way they do today.

Your way: your layers and line types, walls snapped to 90 degrees or drawn exactly as scanned, floors split automatically.

What you get

2D floor plans as DWG, in your layers and drawing standards
Walls, columns, doors, windows and openings
Uncertain areas left blank, never guessed
Works with E57, RCP, LGS, NavVis and more
Set up on your own past projects, under NDA

How pricing works

How pricing works

Per project, no subscription, no seats. The price depends on the size and complexity of the building, and comes in well under what drawing it in house or offshore costs you today. You only pay once you use it on live jobs.

Questions survey firms ask us

Questions survey firms ask us

How accurate is it?

It is set up on your own finished drawings, so it works to your standard. Where the point cloud is unclear, it leaves a gap instead of guessing, so your drafter never has to hunt for a wrong line.

Our buildings aren’t square. Does it cope?

Furniture and clutter don’t need cleaning out first. Walls are drawn as scanned or snapped square, whichever your firm uses. What it cannot read clearly, it leaves blank.

What happens to our data?

We sign an NDA before any data moves, and your data is stored in Germany. Your client names, addresses and drawings are never published. If you have a security questionnaire, we fill it in.

Does it do elevations, sections or Revit?

Floor plans today. Elevations, sections, and 3D Revit are in development.

Can I send one point cloud to test it?

We set Blick up on your past projects first, so what you see is drawn your way. Book 15 minutes and we will walk you through a building like yours.

How much work is it to get started?

Getting past projects to us. You don’t need to tidy, rename or sort anything, and if exporting is the hard part, we can take that on.

Who we are

Blick is built in Munich by a team of engineers from the Technical University of Munich. We worked on computer vision, point cloud AI and autonomous driving before founding Blick.
